The deliberate shooting of protesters in the eye during the 2022-23 protests in Iran points to particularly perfidious systematic repression. A duo of Iranian filmmakers in exile in Berlin take this as a ground line and ask the question: “What happens when security forces aim at vision itself?” Based on this, they reconstruct narratives of images taken from social media during the protests.
